Program Overview:SuperSkills is a fun, transformational and immersive life skills programme developed by a global team of experts in Child Psychology, Pedagogy, Education and Arts .
This curriculum helps children increase their self-esteem, develop healthy attitudes, and improve their knowledge of essential life skills – all of which promote healthy and positive personal development and enhance performance in all spheres of life.
Learning Objectives:
Personal and Self-Management Skills
Provides students with skills to enhance self-esteem, gain self awareness and inculcate empathy. Teaches them to cope with emotions, stress, and anxiety and to manage anger.
General Social Skills
Empowers students with skills to meet personal challenges such as overcoming shyness, communicating clearly, and building relationships.
Potential Building Skills
Enables children to hone their thinking skills and capabilities like decision making, critical thinking and creativity.
Program Details
Methodology:
•Participatory, Immersive and Multi-activity based:
Learning is induced through experiences in the form of Theater and Role-Plays, Arts and craft, Discussion labs, Adventure, Sports and Games , Neuro Linguistic Programming etc.
•Multiple intelligence based
•Learning is essentially Classroom and outdoors based
Program Design
•Lesson plans are based on the life skills identified by UN-WHO
•Evidence of learning established to measure effectiveness of the program
•Duration: Taught either on an intensive schedule in the form of workshops, or on a more extended year long based schedule comprising of 33 - 40 sessions each 45 min to 1 hour in duration
•100+ hour comprehensive programs are also conducted
